Science in the Summer: Be a Space Scientist!

Science in the Summer: Be a Space Scientist! In-Person

Students entering 2nd-6th grade. Be a space scientist this summer!

Join us for GSK Science in the Summer: Be a Space Scientist!

Spend the day with Miss Susie and Miss Rebecca as they lead this educational program provided by the Franklin Institute of Philadelphia and GSK. The program will cover five jobs that utilize space science in their daily operations, including a rocket engineer, a spacesuit designer, an astrobiologist, and more!

There will be two Science in the Summer programs at Chester Springs Library. Both are identical and you may only attend one.

This session is Wednesday, July 3 from 10:30 AM to 3 PM, but please arrive at 10:15 AM to get checked in.

Registration for this session opens on Monday, June 10 at 5:30 PM.

If the session is full, please put your child's name on the waiting list as there are usually cancellations.

A pizza lunch will be provided at 12:30pm, however you're welcome to bring your own lunch if you'd like. A refrigerator is available.

If you're registered but can no longer attend the program, please cancel your registration and/or call the library as soon as possible. We want to have time to alert registrants on the waitlist if a spot becomes available.
