Homeschool Book Club (4-6th grade) In-Person
Fever 1793 is a young adult novel that tells the story of a 14-year-old girl named Mattie Cook, who fights to survive the yellow fever epidemic of 1793 in Philadelphia. Age recommended is 10+.
Miss Shannon, and literary and history enthusiast, will lead weekly book discussion and activities.
Don't want to read the book, but want to still learn about the Yellow Fever in Philadelphia for your PA history, please come!
For May 13th, please read chapters 11-20 before our program.
