Inspired by the Longwood Gardens Community Read of 2024 (The Last Garden in England and The Secret Garden) with its focus on gardens as a source of human healing, Henrietta Hankin Library is excited add to our "Sow and Tell Week" line-up, with a presentation by Penn State Extension, Chester County Master Gardeners, Cassandra Hogue and Dennis Inverso.

Ornamental grasses can be a valuable addition to your landscape, providing vertical interest, unusual colors, and 4 seasons benefits.  In this workshop, you will learn about different varieties of grasses, best planting sites by grass type, care and maintenance, and considerations of invasive species.

A limited number of family passes will be raffles at this event and light refreshments will be provided.  Registration is required.  Henrietta Hankin Branch Library supports PA Forward Civic and Social Literacy.
