Board Game Night!

Board Game Night! In-Person

The new Downingtown Library Board Game Night is a chance for you to meet other people from the community who enjoy the wonderful world of board games!

Whether you are new to the world of modern board games, or have a massive personal collection of board games at home, you will have fun playing games on the first Wednesday of each month from 5pm - 8pm.  For the summer months we will also be meeting on the third Monday of June, July and August!

There is no specific game scheduled to be played at each meeting.  Rather, attendees will chat and informally figure out which game(s) the group(s) would like to play. The games available will depend on what board games attendees decide to bring from their personal collections, but examples include Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Puerto Rico, Azul, Wingspan, and Pandemic. You do not need to bring any board games in order to attend. Just show up ready to play a game you already know, or learn something new!

Many of the games that will be played have many small pieces and more complex rules than traditional family games (e.g., Monopoly). Therefore, this program is not targeted at young children.

Please register if you would like to be notified of schedule changes or additional information.
