Join us for a screening of the cult classic movie "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar" (1995). Afterwards, stick around for a discussion of the film with Carrie Stare, President of the LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County. Refreshments will be provided.
About "To Wong Foo"
Elite Manhattan drag queens Noxeema Jackson (Wesley Snipes) and Vida Boheme (Patrick Swayze) win a trip to Hollywood to compete in the "Miss Drag Queen of America Pageant." Before they depart, Vida persuades Noxeema to take along the inexperienced "drag princess" Chi-Chi Rodriguez (John Leguizamo) as their protégé. Thus begins a road trip filled with laughs, lessons, new friends, and a lot of love.
Both Swayze and Laguizamo were nominated for Golden Globes for their performances.
