Community Volunteer Fair

Community Volunteer Fair In-Person

Welcoming area non-profit organizations to come table at the Kennett Library to meet potential volunteers. The whole library will be available to organizations to set up, share information, network with others and meet interested public.

Nonprofits from various service sectors will be at the Kennett Library on Saturday, May 11th, from 10 am - 2 pm to promote their open volunteer positions.

The day will feature many nonprofit organizations from all over Chester County, ready to answer any questions and recruit volunteers.

Lou Florence, Collection Development, said, “Come meet your people! Meet local nonprofits to find the perfect fit for your volunteer ambitions. The Kennett Library serves as a vital hub for community engagement, and it’s the perfect venue to meet a wide variety of like-minded institutions and make great connections.”

Represented service sectors include animal welfare, arts, civics, emergency services, environmental, ESL, health, human services, and more. There are opportunities for all ages, skill sets, schedules, and abilities. All are welcome to attend and learn about how they can give back to the community.
