Celebrate Mothers with Mary Cassatt's Paintings and Craft In-Person
Join us as we celebrate all the special mothers and other mothers in our life.
In this program is lead by an instructor from Kids Look Listen Create (KLLC), students will listen to a story and explore several paintings by American Impressionist, Mary Cassatt. Together, we will discover her passion for painting mothers and children and capturing precious moments of their interactions. In addition, learn more about Impressionists and Mary Cassatt. The class will conclude with an open-ended craft inspired by the paintings, the story and presented art supplies.
This program is for children ages 4.5 to 8 years old. EACH CHILD must be registred individually. Registration is required.
Per library policy, if a child under the age of eleven (11) is attending a program independently, a parent or caregiver must remain in the building.
This program supports PA Forward Basic, Civic and Social Literacy.
