Where Do Old Books Go

Where Do Old Books Go In-Person

This month, we will delve into Erasure by Lou Florence from the Kennett Library

Learn how to upcycle old book pages and transform them into works of art in this workshop series.

We’ll be featuring different artists and techniques like origami, papier mâché, book folding, erasure poetry, paper cutting, flower pressing, shadow puppetry, and more!

We would love to know where do your old books go? Please email rsakr@ccls.org pictures of your finished book art so we can build a virtual gallery!

When you do visit the library, check out our book art exhibit on display at the landing on the first floor of the library. Please consider supportting the library programing by purchasing bookmarks handmade by staff at the circulation desk.
