Sumo Wrestling 101 In-Person

We are the Phoenixville Sumo Club. Join us at the Downingtown Library on 1/20/2023, at 10am, to learn about Sumo! You’ll learn the history of Sumo, how to do basic exercises, what a mawashi is, the rituals of a match, and more! People of all ages, genders, and body types are welcome, Sumo is for everyone! Sumo is filled with rich history, going back over 1,500 years! Amateur Sumo is growing in the USA and right here in SE Pennsylvania.
