Imagine the Possibilities: Building and Sustaining an Inclusive Community In-Person

For 36 years, Marvin Worthy has been committed to minimizing the devastation caused by a lack of civility and a sense of belonging. A Great Valley High School alumni, Marvin formed Worthy Consulting & Training to further his goal of helping others to recognizes their role in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In Marvin's interactive workshop participants will recieve the tools to build and sustain a favorable community that empowers and enables each member to become a positive contributor to building an inclusive community. Participants will explore successful strategies and processes that will assist them in working together to vitalize and sustain community.

    1. Participants will identify what positive community characteristics should be the focus when building an inclusive community.
    2. Participants will assist in identifying what negative characteristics impede our ability to build healthy communities.
    3. And lastly participants will assist in identifying what active role (s) members of a community play in developing and maintaining the community.

Light breakfast fare will be provided, please call the library about any major allergies. Registration required as space is limited.
