Build Your Own Cryptid Collage Workshop

Build Your Own Cryptid Collage Workshop In-Person

GRADES 5-8 (FIRM)

Tap into your imagination and create your very own cryptid in this writing and collage workshop led by Robin Gow, local YA and middle-grade author. What is a cryptid? A creature that is found in stories and that some people believe exists or say they have seen, but that has never been proven to exist.

Registration required. Please register with the attendee's name and parent/guardian/adult contact information.

Robin Gow (it/fae/he) is a trans and queer poet and witch from rural Pennsylvania. He is the author of several poetry collections, an essay collection, and Middle-Grade and YA novels. Faer novels include Ode to My First Car, A Million Quiet Revolutions, and Dear Mothman. Fae works as a community educator, calling folks into discussions around queer and disability justice. It lives with their queer family and two pugs, Gertie and Eddie.

This program fulfills PA Forward's Civic and Social Literacy through "understanding the importance of community engagement which allows individuals to interact with one another, in a participatory manner."
