Introduction to Mindfulness In-Person

As part of the celebrations for the 10th Anniversary of the Main Line Zen Meditation group, the Tredyffrin Public Library invites the community to an Introduction to Mindfulness program.

Perhaps you've heard about the miracle of mindfulness, or meditation is something you've been curious about but aren't quite sure how to get started. Or, perhaps you're a seasoned practitioner. All are welcome! This short introduction and practice session is a great way to give it a try and to meet other practitioners in our community.

The Schedule:
10:30 am -  Introduction to Mindfulness and meditation

10:45am-11:45: Practice session
Guided meditation - 15 minutes
Walking meditation - 10 minutes
Silent meditation - 15 minutes
Q&A and sharing our experience

Registration is required.


This program fulfills PA Forward's Health Literacy through nourishing "the ability to make informed decisions in relation to an individual’s physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual health."
