Love to cook and try new recipes? Join us and warm up those cold nights with dishes from “Chowderland”. Creamy, hearty, and nourishing, chowder is always satisfying. Choose from Creamy Clam Chowder, Portuguese Caldo Verde Chowder, Northwest Salmon Chowder with Leeks and Peas, Double Corn Summer Chowder, and more. Plus, match your chowder with a tasty side dish, bread, salad, or dessert.

To participate, visit the reference desk at the Chester County Library where you will be given the opportunity to browse “Chowderland: Soups and Stew with Sides and Salads to Match”. Choose a recipe, receive a photocopy and then make that dish and bring it to the “Cookbook Club” night, Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 6:00 PM on the second floor in the Staff Kitchen. Participants will discuss the recipes they have chosen, their experience preparing the dish and any changes made or would make. The fun part is the tasting. Remember to bring a table setting for yourself and serving utensils for the dish you have prepared.
