Community Gardening around the Village: Introduction to Landscape Design In-Person / Online
Landscape design blends art and analysis to help create outdoor spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. This lecture will introduce the design process, and the basics you need to get started on your own landscape design -- from preparing a base map from measurements to evaluating site conditions such as light and rainfall to help place landscape elements. We'll also introduce some basic tools and resources to help further your knowledge beyond the classroom. Come join us for a fun, dynamic lecture with plenty of time for questions!
