Concert in the Library: The O'Rourke Family Irish Band In-Person
Back by popular demand, the O’Rourkes, Irish and Scottish musicians, return to the Chester County Library, this time with a bucket full of sea shanties. Sea Shanties are a genre of traditional folk music that was once commonly sung as a work song to accompany rhythmical labor aboard large merchant sailing vessels. Sailors and workers sang to keep their morale and spirits up in tough times. Clap, stamp and sing along. Be sure to come and join the fun.
Registration is requested. Registration will close 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event. Walk-ins are welcome.
