STEM NIGHT: 3D PRINTING!

STEM NIGHT: 3D PRINTING! In-Person

3D Printing with Dr. Bo Li

For Elementary Students grades 2 thru 5

Join Dr. Bo Li and your library friends as we learn and discover the technology of the 3D printer!

3D printing has emerged as a new technology for fast prototyping and manufacturing of customized products. Some 3D printing technologies such as FDM (fused deposition modeling) printers are cheap enough to be equipped in elementary schools and even at home.

The team of the HNAM lab at Villanova University will bring 3D printing products from different technologies and introduce students to the advantages and applications of these technologies.

Presenter: Dr. Bo Li is an Associate Professor, Principle Invesgator of Hybrid Nano-Architectures and Advanced Manufacturing Laboratory (HNAM), Mechanical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Villanova University.
