Introduction to Enneagram

Introduction to Enneagram In-Person

The ‘Introduction to Enneagram’ session offers a background to an ancient personality typing model which gained popularity in the 1970s. This program explains the nine personality types, how each type sees the world differently, and helps attendees consider which style most resonates with them.
Each Enneagram type has associated core motivations developed in childhood which affect our daily thoughts, feelings, and actions. Often, we are blind to childhood strategies carried into adulthood which are no longer useful to us.
As attendees learn about this personality tool, they increase their self-awareness, notice their tendencies, and may begin spotting when their ego is "acting up.” The end goal is to live at a healthier level and with more compassion for yourself and toward others.
For a more meaningful learning experience, prior to the session participants are encouraged to take a free online Enneagram “classical” test at www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/test (~20 min.). The results provide the first step in identifying your core type.
