Suicide Prevention Training - QPR In-Person
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer – 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Just as people are trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver to help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade and refer someone to the help they need. QPR, from the QPR Institute has been researched and proven to be effective. It is listed on the National Registry of Evidence-Based Practices and Policies (NREPP).
Presented by the Chester County Suicide Prevention Task Force (CCSPTF) and the Chester County Department of Mental Health/Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities.
