Financial Literacy Series (Avoiding Common Financial Pitfalls) In-Person
During this in-person meeting, we will discuss how you and those you care about can avoid common financial pitfalls. We will discuss topics from the financial cost of playing the lottery, high interest rate loans and credit cards, risky investments, being underinsured and cybersecurity. Presented by Avery Stein, certified financial advisor, and in partnership wiht the Association of Financial Educators. This is the first of 4 sessions in the series. Others include "Understanding Credit, Credit Scores and Loans" on September 26 (Zoom); "Building Blocks of a Financial Plan" on October 10 (Zoom) and "Retirement Planning: Social Security, Medicare, Retirement Income and Investments on October 24 (in person).
