Diwali Celebration In-Person
Join us for an afternoon of activities celebrating the holiday of Diwali, the Festival of Lights!
2:30-3:00 p.m. - Indian Fashion Show & Songs
Learn about the different styles of traditional dresses worn across India, including the significance of the outfits, fabric, color, and style. Ladies will model dresses and jewelry. Afterwards, stick around for a live performance of festive songs.
3:15-4:00 p.m. - Diya Painting & Refreshments
Decorate your own locally handcrafted diya, donated by local pottery company Supreeti Creations. All supplies will be provided. Registration required.* While you paint, enjoy an assortment of homemade savory and sweet Indian dishes and get a free henna design from Priyanka Lalwani.
