Plant Share & Swap In-Person
Fall is a great time to plant perennials! Divide your perennials and trade them in for something new. Be sure to label any garden thugs (aggressive spreaders or seeders). We will meet in the back of the library parking lot, where there will be tables for you to share your plants.
For the best experience, you should plan to arrive at 9:00. If you arrive later, you chance missing plants you'd like to have and people who would like the ones you brought with you.
This is event is perfect for gardeners with established plants and those getting their hands dirty for the first time. You can bring plants even if you don't need new ones, and you can choose new plants even if you have nothing to bring with you.
Would you like to plan ahead? Come to our Haves and Haves-Not session on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00 to 11:00am. We will tell each other the plants we have available to share from our gardens and which ones we are looking for. That should make for a very satisfying plant swap!
