Wild Edible Plants of Pennsylvania In-Person
Join Debbie Naha-Koretzky, “The Wild Edibles Lady,” to celebrate Wild Foods Day!
Discover the edible plants of Pennsylvania and learn about plant identification, safety, look-alike plants, sustainable harvesting, nutrition, and cooking with wild plants. The program will include a slide show followed by a foraging walk.
Debbie Naha-Koretzky received her master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, a Certified Rutgers Master Gardener, a Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, and the author of Foraging Pennsylvania and New Jersey (2021, Falcon Guides). Her advanced training in nutrition provides a unique approach to appreciating wild foods.
