Yoga with Eileen In-Person
Join us for this adaptive, mild 60 minute yoga session. Floor work optional with alternatives demonstrated. $5/session. Bring your mat, water bottle and exercise bands if you have them.
Each of us have unique skeletal structures and varied lung capacities but we all need to stretch our muscles and fascia in a safe capacity. For those unable to participate in the floor work on the mat due to physical limitations, alternatives will be demonstrated. In this adaptive, mild 60 minute yoga session we will explore the efficiency and effectiveness of getting into yoga poses using blocks, blankets, straps and the wall to give us feedback to our joint as and muscles. Three 20 minute segments will address joint lubrication then a gentle to mild vinyasa (flow)and finally asanas(postures) coordinated with our chakra system- subtle energy cycles of our body’s major systems. We will address my 3 A’s of yoga - awareness of breath, alignment of body, and acceptance of who we are.
