Faberge Museum: The Romanov's Easter Eggs

Faberge Museum: The Romanov's Easter Eggs In-Person

The Romanov’s Easter Eggs

Easter is quickly approaching, the busiest time of year at the House of Fabergé. The whole year was spent preparing for Easter and proudly presenting the royal family with the year’s greatest creation, the Easter egg. Each was uniquely designed specifically for its owner and possessed intimate details of their private lives. For years they were lovingly displayed in cabinets and on the shelves decorating the Romanov’s private chambers until it all came to an end.  Many of the eggs were sold abroad, several mysteriously disappeared yet to have been found, and the world’s greatest Easter egg hunt continues. Join us on April 2nd as we talk about Fabergé’s humble beginning, some of the most famous eggs in the Fabergé Museum collection and how it all came to an end.

Stacey is a former tour guide in St. Petersburg, Russia and licensed Fabergé Museum guide.
