William Parker: An African Warrior for Liberation - Virtual Presentation In-Person
This virtual presentation will focus on the agency of the African warrior William Parker who many may know in relation to the Christiana Resistance. But who was William Parker? Why is he important? What happened to him after the Christiana Resistance? And why should he be honored as one of the most fierce leaders against African enslavement?
Jordan Denson is a lifetime resident of Chester County, Pennsylvania. He is a Lincoln University alumni and earned his doctorate from Temple University in Africology and African American Studies. He is currently an Academic Advisor for the College of Business at Delaware State University.
