Social Eating: How to Stay Healthy when Eating with Others Online
Almost every social event we attend centers around food. Holidays, family traditions, or even meeting up with a friend all lead to food (and not always the foods healthiest for our bodies). If you're looking for tips on how to navigate your health around these social settings, join us for a virtual presentation by dietitian Adrianne Delgado.
Adrianne Delgado is a registered, licensed dietitian and graduated with honors from West Chester University along with a minor in psychology. In 2015, Adrianne received her Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management. With over 20 years’ experience in out-patient nutrition care, Adrianne is dedicated to her craft and helping clients achieve results.
Adrianne’s passion includes helping her patients have a positive relationship with food, improving energy levels and empowering her clients to live their best life. As a working mother of five children, she understands firsthand the challenges of balancing health and responsibilities. Her practical tips for execution allow her clients to not only feel motivated but actually make the changes and achieve their goals. Adrianne’s specialty involves teaching clients how to create new habits which include mindful eating tips and techniques and “root work”, a unique program designed to figure out why we over desire food and how to create healthier habits. In addition to family nutrition and weight loss, Adrianne enjoys working in the Medical Nutrition field helping patients create plans for hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, food intolerances, gastrointestinal health and endocrine disorders. Adrianne works with picky eaters (kids and adults) to find the right plan for success.
In 2019, Adrianne became an author to her first book Nourish, Eat, Repeat: A busy woman’s guide to a healthier mind, body and life. Adrianne is also a public speaker at various businesses, schools and churches throughout the area. She also is the host of the podcast series, Nourish, Eat, Repeat available on all major platforms.
