Author Leth Oun: A Refugee's American Dream: From the Killing Fields of Cambodia to the U.S. Secret Service In-Person

Author Leth Oun is a survivor of the Killing Fields -  the Cambodian genocide under Pol Pot and Khmer Rouge regime where his father was executed, and that killed and buried over a million people.  Leth immigrated to the US, arriving in America, 17 and penniless, and struggled at first at menial jobs.  He learned English, became a citizen and a college graduate and is now a veteran United States Secret Service officer. He has protected presidents and vice presidents in four administrations in forty-nine states and more than a dozen countries.  Through his most difficult moments, Oun displays truly inspiring resilience and determination to succeed.

Co-author, Sam Starnes is the author of three novels as well as countless articles for magazines, newspapers and journals.
