If you will be joining the ranks of Medicare soon, are already in the Medicare system and have questions, or you just want to understand what this Federal program is all about, this session is for you. Learn about Medicare Parts A (Hospital Insurance), B (Medical Insurance), C (Medicare Advantage) and D (Drug Coverage); types of health care insurance available in Chester County, including Medigaps aka Medicare Supplement Insurance, benefits available for limited income beneficiaries and things to consider when selecting your medical coverage. There will be time for questions and answers after the presentation.
This presentation is presented by Chester County PA MEDI counselors, who are specially trained staff and volunteers who can answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy to understand information about Medicare. PA MEDI services are free, unbiased and confidential.
Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight, PA MEDI is Pennsylvania’s SHIP Program and locally under the auspices of the Chester County Department of Aging Services.
