Local Author Event: Kellie Springer (POSTPONED UNTIL 5/11)

Local Author Event: Kellie Springer (POSTPONED UNTIL 5/11) In-Person

The Chester County Library System is proud to support local authors and raise awareness surrounding public health issues.

April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month.

The Downingtown Library is honored to host an evening with Chester County author Kellie Springer as she shares her memoir, titled Relentless: A Journey of Forgiveness. While Kellie's story chronicles her recovery and healing from childhood physical and sexual abuse, her telling is for anyone who hopes to understand life's challenges and know themselves more fully. Relentless is full of authenticity, grit, self exploration, hope, and permission to be human. This inspiring book is a vehicle to dispel myths surrounding trauma, educate the community, and awaken its readers.

Kellie will talk about her writing process as a novice author and how she pursued the path to her personal understanding of forgiveness. A Q&A session will follow. Please join us for a night of connection and inspiration.

Space is limited so please register today!

Contact Sarah Barker at sbarker@ccls.org with any questions.

** Due to the sensitive nature of some of the presentation topics for this evening, we encourage anyone in need to seek support through Crisis Support: Dial 988 or Text 741741.
