K-5 STEAM In-Person
Pennsylvania Wildlife and Ecology
Join Dawn White from Indian Run Environmental Education Center and meet live birds of prey and reptiles to learn more about some of Pennsylvania's wildlife. Discover their roles in out local ecosystems, examine feathers, shells and more, and find out how we can better accommodate wildlife in out yards and neighborhoods. A make and take craft is included.
Program is for kids in grades K-5. Registration is required for EACH CHILD.
Per library policy, if a child under the age of eleven (11) is attending a program independently, a parent or caregiver must remain in the building.
Funding for this program is provided by the Friends of Henrietta Hankin Branch Library.
This program supports PA Foward Basic and Information Literacy.
