FARM, FOOD, and FRIENDS In-Person
Deb Ellis is a former elementary teacher and also an egg farmer. She and her friend Ann from the Chester County Ag Council will be sharing books, crafts, snacks, and activities once a month to share with kids grades K-5. This program is all about agriculture, where our food is from, and what farming means to all of us.
This month the book will be "How Did That Get In My Lunchbox?" by Chris Butterworth.
The children will listen to the book and do a sorting activity with foods. There will be some taste testing of foods too, including clementines, apples, and cheese.
