Hybrid: Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts Series Presents "Landlord and Tenant Rights" In-Person / Online
Going to court can be an overwhelming experience both for landlords and tenants. This installment in the Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts Series will help build knowledge and confidence by guiding you through the process. In addition, presented will be outlines of the various duties and obligations expected of both landlords and tenants. Discover how to seek recourse when these obligations are not met. Learn how a case gets to court, courtroom etiquette, what happens in the courtroom and the documentation you need to support your legal position.
Guest speaker Judge Bret M. Binder received his B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. In 2004, he received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. Judge Binder was elected to the Court of Common Pleas of Chester County in November 2019, taking his oath of office in January 2020.
Registration is required. Registration will close 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the event. A Zoom link will be emailed to Virtual Program registrants 2 hours before the program starts.
