Microsoft Word Basic Class Online

In this class you will learn to:
•    Create, open, save, and print a document.
•    Edit and format text.
•    Change the page layout.
•    Copy, Cut, and Paste.
•    Insert clip art and pictures to documents.
•    The use of spell check & grammar check.
•    The use of the find and replace feature.

Prerequisite: Basic computing and computer file management skills. This is a hands-on class.  Participants should have Microsoft Word installed on their devices in order to follow along.

In the mid 1990s Paul Celentano began writing job reports and creating wiring lists and phone directories for intercom systems with a computer on the MS-DOS based program “Professional Writer”, which is now part of the ash heap of the early digital age. Paul has since written two books using MS Word, though most of his usage is born from writing narratives regarding contract disputes at the end of construction projects.
