Community Gardening around the Village: Autumn Tree Walk in Black Rock Sanctuary In-Person
Come see what the trees and other plants are doing this time of year in Black Rock Sanctuary in Phoenixville! Learn how to identify common trees, why leaves change color in the fall, and some of the traditional uses of many of the plants in the park. This tour will involve walking about a mile on paved paths, and will be led by Martha Napolitan Cownap, a Pennsylvania Master Naturalist and herb gardener at Camphill Kimberton.
Meets at the parking lot of Black Rock Sanctuary, 953 Black Rock Rd (PA-113)., Phoenixville, PA.
