"Love Letters" at Phoenixville Recreation Center In-Person

A performance of A.R. Gurney's play by local actors Christine & Richard Emmert, who share their love and talent in this limited engagement.  Presented in conjunction with Wild Plum Productions.  Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service.  

RICHARD EMMERT is a visual artist in addition to his involvement in theater.  The painting, MELISSA, is his creation for this piece.  Working in a variety of styles and media, Richard has work throughout the United States and Europe in private and public spaces.  As an actor and set designer he has appeared in Wild Plum Productions for the last 40 years in collaboration with his wife, Christine.  Richard holds a BA in Anthropology from Temple University.

CHRISTINE EMMERT is a writer, actress,  director and educator.  She began acting in theater at the age of fifteen and has continued over her lifetime with few pauses.  She holds a BA in Anthropology and an MHA in Humanities from the University of Colorado.  In addition she studied theater with Tamara Daykaranova in New York and attended classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.  She has a long career as a playwright in addition to her time on stage.
