CK (Kas) Sobey continues to live a life of curiosity. She considers herself to be a seeker. An explorer.  Her many ventures in life attest to this. In her earlier years she was in the entertainment field. She has been a trained mediator.  She was in the corporate world for almost 30 years.  She trained as a spiritual practitioner and later became a certified hypnotherapist, bringing a deeper understanding of the inner mind to others, specializing in Core Transformation and several complementary medical areas.  She has facilitated many groups in a variety of subjects and Soulcollage® for years. Kas has since “retired” from her businesses to spend more time reimagining her life. Writing has become an important creative channel. She enjoys walking, dancing, photography, and exploring the planet and new ideas.  Cooking with a mixture of music is her often way of unwinding at the end of a day. Bubble baths included!  For the past 20 years, Kas has lived in the Valley Forge area of Pennsylvania.  She is seeking that which is calling her to new paths.

A Collection of Tiny Stories, Diminutive Tales from the Tip of my Imagination is her third book. The book was published in June 2022. “Tiny Stories,” has been submitted for several  literary awards.

James J. Hill III is a local author, who was born in Norristown PA, lived in Phoenixville for several years recently, and now resides in nearby, scenic East Vincent, Chester County.

In 2021, James published his first two novels, "When the Dandelions Sing" and "Phoebe's Heart of Stone." This year, he published his third novel, "The Gift of Life, Plus One".

"When the Dandelions Sing" is a fiction work based on a young boy, Ronnie Jefferson McFarland Jr, AKA Jasper, who struggles to understand his purpose in life, and the purpose in the small things around him. He learns from those who seemingly have little to give, but they end up having the most powerful impact. Through the challenges of life, Ronnie learns through loss and gain to accept everything life hands to him as a lesson.

James's second novel, "Phoebe's Heart of Stone," is a historical fiction work, based on a true-life tragic event that took place in the early part of the 1900s in a small town known as Alliance, OH. Phoebe and Carl Bradway struggle with disaster and loss and need to find a way to carry on through a horrid black cloud that doesn't seem to let them enjoy life. Will hope be enough for them?

The most recent novel is about a young child named Agnes, who struggles with some health issues, and her parents face the difficult task of helping her through that all.

He is currently working on a 4th, based in Philadelphia, that he hopes to have out sometime late 2022 or early 2023.
