History of the Bicycle In-Person / Online
Discover the history of bicycles—from hobby horses to highwheelers to safety bicycles, we’ll learn about the innovations in cycling technology, some of the famous names behind bicycle development, and early automobile companies that evolved from bicycle manufacturers. We’ll also look at how the bicycle impacted society—from improving roads and infrastructure to its impact on the women’s movement.
