History and Birds on the Rapps Dam Trailhead In-Person
Come join us for an approximately 2-mile level walk along the French Creek Trail looking for migrating and resident birds and learn about the rich history of the immediate area. Bring binoculars and wear comfortable shoes.
Directions: Take Rt. 113 to Rapp's Dam Rd, then 1/4 mile to the trailhead, 1135 Rapp's Dam Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
Retired Park Ranger Rick Wolf has worked in New York, Alaska & Pennsylvania. In PA, Rick worked at Hopewell Furnace and Valley Forge National Historical Park. He leads trips for the West Chester Bird Club and administers their Facebook page. Rick and his wife Eleanor have birded in 7 continents of the world.
