Community Services Spotlight: CASA Youth Advocates Online
Every child needs a champion. Could you be that champion?
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Delaware and Chester counties makes sure children who have experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and achieve a bright future. They are a volunteer-driven agency that gives a powerful voice to children.
Last year, 124 CASA volunteers advocated for 222 children in Delaware and Chester counties, but it still wasn't enough to help all of the children. There were 1,200 children in the counties’ child welfare systems.
Their advocates are the eyes and ears of the court, focusing on one family, and providing the consistency and care that is so often lacking in the child welfare system.
Please join us for a 20-minute information session about the work that CASA does and how you can help.
This event is free and open to the public and will be held online via Zoom. Registration is required.
